The Nederwaard Museum Mill illuminated during Illumination Week in Kinderdijk.
Wednesday 9 September to Saturday 12 September

Evening Opening of the Nederwaard Museum Mill

A unique opportunity to experience this historic windmill after dark, while the illuminated windmills outside create a magical atmosphere.

During Illumination Week, you have the unique opportunity to visit the Nederwaard Museum Mill in the evening. From Wednesday 9 to Saturday 12 September, the museum mill is specially open after dark, while the illuminated windmills outside provide a stunning backdrop. It’s a rare opportunity, as the museum mill is not normally open in the evening. Discover how the miller and his family once lived and worked, admire the authentic interior, and experience the unique atmosphere of a historic windmill at night.
