During this approximately 9 km SUP tour, you’ll paddle through the world-famous polder landscape as part of a group. Along the way, you’ll enjoy the peaceful surroundings, the illuminated windmills, and the unique atmosphere that can only be experienced during Illumination Week.
The tour is suitable for participants with some SUP experience who are comfortable paddling approximately 9 km. For safety reasons, lights on your SUP board are mandatory. The tour is led by experienced SUP instructors from Samen Suppen.
Respect for residents
Kinderdijk is not only a UNESCO World Heritage Site but also a residential area. The windmills are still inhabited. Therefore, it is not permitted to moor at the jetties or enter the windmills’ private grounds during the tour. Together, we can help minimise disturbance to the residents.
