Long Half might sound like a short visit, but nothing could be further from the truth. You will take a tour around all sorts of locations at Kinderdijk, starting with the video, the exhibition, and Wisboom Pumping Station and then board the boat for a trip to the windmills. Go on an adventure and discover how Dutch water management originated.

Journey through time
This outing begins with the video and exhibition about this landscape of windmills. That is followed by a boat trip through this breathtaking countryside to one of the museum mills. Here, you can find out what life was like in the windmill and its yard.
Then it’s time for a walk to Wisboom Pumping Station, the historic heart of Kinderdijk. Thanks to the scale model, the windmill game, and other fun museum items, you can learn even more about how the people managed to stay dry in these parts. Afterwards, you can relax in the Kinderdijk-cafe with a tasty treat and take a moment to soak in the landscape.
