Waterbus
Visiting on a weekday or prefer to use public transport? The Waterbus is a great alternative. Line 20 takes you from Rotterdam or Dordrecht in the direction of Kinderdijk. You can choose between two routes: transfer at Ridderkerk to the Driehoeksveer ferry (note: this requires a separate ticket) and reach Kinderdijk in just a few minutes, or get off at the Kade stop in Alblasserdam and cycle to the entrance of the windmill area in about 15 minutes. Check the Waterbus website for their current timetables.
