Visit area the Alblasserwaard

During the Alblasserwaardse Molendag on Saturday, 21 March, several SIMAV windmills and pumping stations in the region will open their doors to the public. Between 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., you are warmly invited to experience water management, the craft of the miller, and the unique landscape of the Alblasserwaard up close. All participating locations can be visited free of charge.

The museum mills at the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Kinderdijk can only be visited with an entry ticket. However, it is possible to take a look inside the J.U. Smit pumping station. A unique opportunity, as it is normally not open to the public!
