Discover Kinderdijk at your own pace as you watch the introductory film, walk between the windmills, visit both museum mills, enjoy several boat trips and stop for lunch at the Kinderdijk Café. Along the way, the audio tour shares even more stories about this UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Walk Between the Windmills

Start your day with the introductory film at Pumping Station De Fabriek before walking to Museum Mill Nederwaard. Along the way, listen to the audio tour as you follow the route through the landscape. In the mill yard, a miller is ready to answer your questions. After your visit, board the Hopper, where a volunteer host shares stories about the area while the skipper takes you to Museum Mill Blokweer.

End Your Visit on the Water

After visiting Wisboom Pumping Station, board the Cruiser (available from late March through October) for a 30-minute boat tour. From the water, you’ll enjoy a different view of the iconic windmills. By the end of the day, you’ll have visited all the main attractions and experienced Kinderdijk from both the dikes and the waterways. Complete your day with a visit to one of our gift shops and take home a special souvenir of Kinderdijk.
